Tiny Serpentine | MONO | STL

By subscribing you will receive download links in your email and further emails when we release new marble machines & modules.

This design is a smaller version of our bigger upcoming marble machine that is launching on KICKSTARTER! You can follow our Kickstarter page here: https://outofmarbles.com/kickstarter

You can also purchase Hardware Kit, so you don't have to worry about marbles, motors, etc...

You will need a 3D printer to print with a minimum bed size of 180x180x180mm. Yes, it can be printed on Prusa Mini.

This is what I call, a mono marble machine. It will not connect with any of the interchangeable modules from the rest of our offering. It is a standalone or in other words a mono marble machine.

This lifting mechanism is a shorter version of the bigger marble machine and I had to test it thoroughly before I put it into a bigger one.

The reason that it is not compatible with interchangeable modules is that it only lifts marbles a little bit, and the modules need at least 14cm of lift.

We can also sell an already 3D printed version of this design, contact us for more information.

You are NOT allowed to resell this in digital or 3D printed versions.

Hardware

Please see our help topic for the list of hardware needed.

    Assembly

There are no comprehensive assembly instructions yet...
But all you have to do is... insert the motor, then insert the motor gear onto the motor shaft. Then stick in the serpentine body into its two holes and you can glue it. The rest is straight forward. Just make sure to align the lifting pushers nicely so they catch the marbles.

The base works, having trouble with the moving parts

I printed the body perfectly and my printer settings are perfect for other modules but the flippers and the gears are printing terrible even at high infill. They break and print funny. Would love if the files were separated
