A great deal of thought went into making sure that our designs will 3D print as easily as possible. Even if you don't have a lot of experiences with 3D printing.
We provide extensive Assembly Documentation for all of our marble machines. We use HD pictures with color coded arrows to make it as easy as possible to follow along.
We have an extensive FAQ and we are available for any questions you might have.
The Module printed nicely with little to none clean up. The action is fast and mesmerizing. This was a enjoyable project for my printer.
Great print works great
Everything printed fine until there's an issue with the chain links being too short. I solved it by printing 5 extra links with 1mm elongation each (just lengthen the entire thing with distortion in x direction only in Cura slicer), spread them out along the chain and it installed fine afterward.
Another small issue is that the non-bucket chain links may lift up marbles, I solved it by adding a roof over the marble entry, first with tape then later 3d printed a U shape cover.
The version I downloaded somehow turned out to be v1.0 while there's v1.1 available. Please look around and make sure you have the latest version.
Overall a fun experience to build and run, all for the price of free.
I printed this myself, the entry holes needs to be enlarged and some area of the channels have stuck marbles and has to be filed. Could be my own setup.

This is my third OoM marble machine. Printing as we speak, but I'm confident it will work fine, as do the others.
Really enjoyed making this. Not only is it just a pleasure to print, assemble, and watch...it's a great way to engage and teach kids of all ages about everything from electric motors to gravity. Not hard to print, though it does take some time. (Hint: before printing, make sure you calibrate your extrusion multiplier using Luka's excellent "Test Fit" calibration model.)
I guess my bottom line is: If you *think* you'd enjoy these machines, you will enjoy these machines.
Marbles never seem to want to drop, fun trying to see how many can get on a level a one time. Easy print.

Thanks for this free model. Printed without any problems and assembly (hardware kit and triple twister module) was very easy.
